SFS Library Circulation Policies
The health and safety of St. Francis students, staff and community are the most important considerations of the SFS Library's COVID-19 policies.
Please note that our Virtual Library resources are available 24/7.
Time is our best ally in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 in physical library materials (source/source). The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) and the the REALM Project record that the COVID-19 can last on a book for up to to 6 days,

- The SFS Library will quarantine library materials for a minimum of 7 days before reshelving or recirculating.
- Students may log into our catalog, Destiny Discover, using their St. Francis Google username and password to search for and place holds on up to 3 books. Here's a tutorial for Destiny Discover. Students may keep their books for 21 days. Students may renew books in Destiny Discover.
- Please keep your books if you suspect that you or someone in your household has COVID-19.
- Thank you for your patience as we work to mitigate the possible spread of COVID-19 in SFS Library materials.
