Learn more about the St. Francis School's Mission Statement, and commitment to the Nurtured Heart Approach. All SFSLibrary rules and interactions are grounded in the Nurtured Heart Approach's Three Stands:
- Absolute Yes
- Absolute No
- Absolute Clarity.
- Take care of yourself, each other, and our space. Strive for kindness, curiosity, and focus.
- Social distancing must be maintained at all times. Masks must be worn at all times (unless medically necessary and arranged with our Head of School).
- Keep hands and bodies to self.
- No running or shouting.
- Follow directions, and ask for help when needed.
- Listen to the speaker, or speak quietly during group work so that others are not disturbed,
- Handle books and supplies with care so that others in our community may also use them.
SELF-SELECTION
- Recreational reading is your right.
- Not every book is the best choice for every reader. If a book is unappealing or offensive to you or your family, please return it and select another.
- You, the student (& your parents), know which reading materials best serve you and your standard of beliefs.
